Smartphone Prices to Continue Falling: Informa | eWeek
As the smartphone market develops, handset manufacturers will have to battle price erosion as prices continue to fall. As a barrage of smartphones continue to find their way into consumers' hands, the smartphone market will begin to diverge and sales will become dominated by two poles; low-end devices priced below $150 and high-end handsets priced above $250, according to a study from Informa Telecoms & Media that assessed price evolution and market opportunities across different segments of the handset market.

Ticketing Startup SeatGeek Brings Its Interactive Stadium Maps To The iPhone | TechCrunch
SeatGeek, which aggregates tickets from resale sites like StubHub, just launched its first iPhone app, one that allows users to browse interactive maps as they try to find the best deals. When SeatGeek raised funding back in August, the stated reason was to “build a really great mobile app.” Co-founder Russell D’Souza and Director of Communications Will Flaherty stopped by the TechCrunch office yesterday to show off the results of their work.

Twitter Mentions And Facebook Likes Have No Impact On Sales | BusinessInsider
Retailers may have hit record sales over the shopping weekend from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday, but the impact of social media campaigns many of them invested in is less certain. Offerpop, which helps retailers including Amazon, Sears and Walmart run social-marketing campaigns, says it saw a 40percent increase in social-media campaigns by its clients for the Black Friday shopping weekend compared with last year.
